Anderson Cooper had some kind words for Pat Roberson on his show Wednesday (Aug. 28) evening. The fact that people like Pat Roberson still exist in this world isn’t surprising. What is surprising is that they are given a televised forum to spew their not-so-inconspicuous ideals to the impressionable public.
In the interview Roberson goes on to drop this delightful gem: “In my own experience, our organization sponsored a meeting years ago in San Francisco where trained security officers warned me about shaking hands because, in those days, certain AIDS-infected activists were deliberately trying to infect people like me by virtue of rings which would cut fingers and transfer blood.”
How can one deny this pillar of genius, when pearls of wisdom like this are handed out?
